🎣 Rend Lake Crappie Report – Tough Bite, Good Crew 🎣

Just got back from a two-day run at Rend. Conditions were stacked against us — rain, wind, water levels, muddy banks — textbook spring chaos.

Big thanks to Fred Mooney at Full Moon Guide Service for setting up the weekend. We had about 15 boats and 20 anglers putting in the work Friday afternoon and Saturday morning.

Fishing was tough but not impossible. Some fish are buried in the buck brush, others are hanging just outside it. We had to weed through a pile of short fish, but the crew stayed after it and managed a solid haul — about 1.5 buckets of fillets by the end.
